“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you and to give you assurance of these things for the churches. I am the Root (the Source, the Life) and the Offspring of David, the radiant and bright Morning Star.”

The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, believers) say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take and drink the water of life without cost.
This Book relays things that were to be hereafter, the accomplishment of which was necessary because of the certain decree of God, the good of his people, and his own glory.
These were to come to pass quickly, in a very little time. Not that they would all be fulfilled in a short space of time, for there are some things not fulfilled yet, though it has been thousands of years since this revelation was made and there may be some things that will not be accomplished till a thousand years from now until then.
The sense is that these things should very quickly begin to be fulfilled and from there go on fulfilling till all are accomplished.
Now John the servants of Christ is shown these things in a clear manner for all true believers so as to read, hear and diligently observe them, especially to the ministers of the Gospel, whose business is to search into them and point them out to all that listen.
